I am inclined to believe rightly or wrongly that linking is what internet is all about. I add what are known as hyperlinks to my main blog from the blog journal. This is what an hyper link is..
quit smoking This html code highlights the text "quit smoking" and sends the visitor to the main blog. The side-effect is that search engines see these links. These link together with the blog content are used for my ranking my blog as it were. That is what I think happens and my logic is based on the fact that everything is not only connected but it is interconnected.

I hope that the readers can read and duplicate this task for their own respective blogs. It is an easy technique that non-techies can incorporate in their own blog tool to add value.
