Today .. I did so some really amazing things

I always struggled with adding an opt-in or e-mail capture box. This morning I managed to do that all by myself.. That in my view is truly remarkable.. So now I have an opportunity to get people’s details for future correspondence.
The other think I tried to do was to monetize the blog. So I checked for books on quit smoking on clickbank. There were books on clickbank on but there was no affiliate stuff with them for me to choose from. Instead, I added a few links in the template footer.. Here is a list .. I used a hyperlink for these links… and subsequently tested them and they worked to my astonishment..

Now I need to set-up a series of newsletters .. I need a template for that .. I have yet to figure out how to do that ..
My plane for this afternoon is to write a post.. but this post is going to be an article which I will post on my blog as well as submitting it to article marketer.. Years ago, I bought a subscription to article marketer.. so now I am going to make use of it.
The other thing that interests me .. is the blog feed. I am going to use feedburner to distribute my feed. And that is an other task that I need to work on this afternoon.

By 9pm on this day 5th July 09 .. I have set-up the adsense for the site quitsmoking as well as adsense for the journal that I am writng
My article which took a long long time to write. It was based on a news item about a service in the uK which has helped some 7611 people quit smoking in a one year period. I called the article. 7611 Quit Smoking, So can you. The article is just over 500 words in length. I used it as a post on my main quit smoking blog but also posted it on article marketer for webside distribution.
Aside from that .. I added another post to my blog. This time it was a youtube video which illustrated the risks of continuing to smoke in a very detailed and graphics fashion, I added some text which for the most part were my own comments about the video.
