There is no sign of my blog on googles first page or for that matter the second page. I rather suspect the reason for this is that my poor or no research. I did see Howie's training material about the keyword research but that was after the fact.
What I learnt was that early stage keyword research pays big dividents. Had I conducted thorough research as required then I would have opted to create a blog for a less competitive niche. Less competitive niche will have helped me get a better ranking of some sort.
As it is, I choose a very competitive niche hence the reason for not getting ranked in my view.
